Lets get together for a coffee (real or virtual) is a new online booking tool for service providers like myself. It's headquartered in Tokyo so I was keen to check it out.


It's relatively simple to set up 

Aesthetically pleasing

Free option with access to most of the features

Managed in your browser - no software to download

Easy to log-in with email address or Facebook

Integrates a blog-type element on your page allowing updates so you can stay engaged with your customers

Personalised page with clear profile image and blurb allowed

Easy sharing on social media



So far it is not possible to take payments for bookings, perhaps this will be offered at a later date

There isn't much support provided on the page for the free service

If you get confused I'm not sure what you do!

Overall I recommend this company if you run a service business such as personal trainer, yoga classes, dietician, etc where you take appointments from individuals and you need a 24 hour automated system. You can also block off times when you're not available as well as manually add bookings that you have taken over the phone for instance.

It also seems suitable for advertising group classes however I am not sure if it supports multiple bookings for the same time slot.

There are some excellent features that are not usually included with online booking systems. Because you set up your own profile page if you were on a budget and had no website it would be possible to use this as your only online contact point. You can add as much or as little detail to the profile/about page as you like. You have a built-in general contact page. You can add 'blog' posts and let your customers know what you're up to. Social media sharing is built-in and it's possible your posts will show up in Google search. And lastly each customer has a profile within your system so you can privately add his/her contact details and additional notes - a CRM (customer relationship management system). Nice!

As for charging your customers for your time. If you meet in person simply collect the payment then. Other options include setting up monthly subscriptions with a payment processor like PayPal or invoicing directly through PayPal. The lack of this feature does not detract from Coubic at all.
